ONLINE LEARNING TOOLS
Our district uses a number of online learning tools to help facilitate learning. We have provided a list of these tools below so parents may be aware of what their child is using. These online tools include software that is used in elementary as mentioned in the student use policy signed by parents.
Renaissance Learning
Moby Max
Renaissance Learning Inc. is an educational assessment and learning analytics company that makes cloud-based educational software for use in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
MobyMax is a personalized learning solution for K-8 Math and ELA (reading, vocabulary, language, and writing). All built from the Common Core.
Edmodo
Gmail - Filtered by Gaggle

Our district provides emails to all middle school and high school students. We also provide emails to elementary students as needed. These emails are hosted by Google Gmail but are monitored and filtered through a third party called Gaggle. Gaggle provides administration the ability to recover student’s emails and filters all email traffic. Policy violations are reviewed in person by Gaggle and any email of concern is forwarded to school administration for review.
Reading Eggs
Reading Eggs makes learning to read interesting and engaging for kids, with great online reading games and activities.
And it really works! Children love the games, songs, golden eggs and other rewards which, along with feeling proud of their reading, really motivate children to keep exploring and learning.
